Who Is The Best Dentist For You...Well... That Depends!

The best Dentist for you and your needs will depend

on your needs, location, and patient reviews.

Referrals from friends and word-of-mouth opinions

can help you decide. If you just want to start out

with a consultation to see how things 'click,'

that's advisable!

The Great Mouthwash Debate...Here's What You Need To Know!

As with everything else, use mouthwash in

moderation, maybe only once a day. If

freshening the breath is a must, and you

already rinsed, brush with a toothpaste

to make things better.

Some harsh rinses, may alter the Oral

Microbiome too much, irreversibly

changing all of the thousand

or so bacteria in the

mouth, even the beneficial ones.

Remember that oral bacteria is swallowed

with food, and they source the gut

bacteria. If very potent mouthwashes

throw the beneficial bacteria out of synch,

then unbeneficial consequences may

show up later down in the

alimentary tract.

Some patients undergoing periodontal

therapy may need an extra, bactericidal boost.

Check with your Dentist to be sure.
